the PDP

The np.a Professional Development Programme supports artists to build confidence, networks, and sustainable creative practices.

Our free programme runs annually from September to March, the PDP combines online learning sessions, group mentoring, and paid exhibition opportunities through np.a’s corporate partnerships. Each year, we run an open call for our artists to submit work for exhibition within partner workplaces. Selected artists are paid for participation and eligible for Art Prizes with our corporate partners, each exhibition is professionally curated, installed, and delivered by np.a.

Artists join a supportive national cohort and learn directly from curators, gallerists, funders, and arts professionals on topics including:

An art gallery with a group of people watching a man giving a presentation. The gallery has light blue walls with two large surreal paintings featuring robotic and fantastical elements. Some attendees are sitting on the floor, others are standing, and a few are taking notes.

np.a is a not for profit organisation meaning 100% of our profits are reinvested into the PDP, we offer our prgramme free of charge to our artists, offering paid for exhibition opportunities, mentoring, and community.

Applications open annually each summer via our Open Call.
