We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting contemporary artists with workplaces, while supporting emerging artists through our Professional Development Programme. Our Trustees play a vital role in shaping our strategic direction, strengthening governance and ensuring our growth remains values-led and artist-centred.
Trustee opportunities
Arts Education Trustee
The Arts Education Trustee will provide strategic guidance for newplatform.art’s Professional Development Programme, helping to ensure that artist support remains rigorous, relevant and responsive.
This role is well suited to someone with experience in arts education, artist development or creative learning environments, who is motivated by supporting emerging talent.
Trustee for Partnerships and Growth
The Trustee for Partnerships and Growth will help shape how newplatform.art builds and sustains meaningful organisational relationships, supporting growth that aligns with our mission and values.
This role is suited to someone with experience in partnership development, relationship building or strategic outreach, and an interest in how creativity and workplaces intersect.
There is no requirement to bring a network. Perspective, curiosity and care are equally valuable.
Time commitment
Trustee roles are voluntary and designed to sit alongside professional commitments.
6 to 8 Board meetings per year (hybrid)
Around 2 to 3 hours per month additional contribution
Three-year term, with the option to renew
